On Saturday at Laurel Park, the stakes action will continue with the $100,000 Marylander Stakes. Restricted to two-year-olds, the race will be contested at seven furlongs on the main track and has drawn a field of seven colts and geldings. 
On Saturday at Aqueduct, the track will host the $100,000 Notebook Stakes. Restricted to two-year-olds bred in New York, the six-furlong contest has drawn a field of eight colts and geldings. 
On Sunday at Woodbine, the track will host the $200,000 Coronation Futurity. Restricted to Canadian-bred two-year-olds, the race will be contested at a mile and an eighth on the all-weather main track and has drawn a field of ten colts and geldings. 
On Saturday at Churchill Downs, the featured race is the $200,000 Chilukki Stakes. Carded at one-mile on the main track, the Grade 2 event has drawn a field of eight fillies and mares. 
With the late scratch of Beholder in the $5 million Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Classic October 31 at Keeneland, American Pharoah (4/5) figures to get a much easier trip – possibly even a loose lead in the 1 1/4 mile journey. 
With last year's winner out of the lineup, several are in with a shot in the 2015 Breeders' Cup Distaff, led by a pair coming off consecutive big wins. 
On Saturday at Santa Anita, the featured race is the $200,000 Twilight Derby. Restricted to three-year-olds, the Grade 2 event is scheduled to be run at a mile and an eighth on the turf and has drawn a field of ten colts and geldings. 
On Saturday at Santa Anita, the featured race is the $100,000 Autumn Miss Stakes. Restricted to three-year-old fillies, the Grade 3 event will be run at one mile on the turf and has drawn a field of ten.
