This Saturday at Belmont Park, Kentucky Oaks heroine Untapable will try to cement her status as the top three-year-old filly in the country in the $300,000 Mother Goose Stakes. The Grade 1 event has drawn a field of six and will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth. 
A field of nine sophomore fillies will take to the track in Saturday’s $200,000 Iowa Oaks at Prairie Meadows. The Grade 3 event will be run at a mile and a sixteenth on conventional dirt and has held graded stakes status since 2004. 
While it did take her three starts to get her diploma, Besilu Stable’s highly-regarded Crown Queen stamped herself as a potential star on the rise with an impressive maiden win on Saturday at Belmont Park. 
Fillies and mares will take center stage at Santa Anita in the $300,000 Vanity Stakes (G1) to be run at a mile and an eighth on the main track. 
In what is perhaps the best rivalry in American horse racing, three champion fillies from 2013 will go to the gate together in one of the featured undercard races for the Belmont Stakes. 
With an equipment controversy avoided, it has been confirmed that Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner California Chrome will be entered in the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes on June 7.
