On Friday at Saratoga, the featured race is the 30th running of the $200,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes. The Grade 2 event is restricted to three-year-olds and will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth on the inner turf course. 
The best older horses in the country will square off in the race for Horse of the Year in the 87th running of the Whitney Handicap at Saratoga. With Grade 1 status and a purse of $1.5 million on the line, the mile and an eighth contest has drawn a field of nine. 
Monday action at the Spa includes a single stakes race, the $200,000 Grade II Honorable Miss, a handicap event for fillies and mares three years old and upward going six panels on the dirt. 
The summer stakes races continue at Saratoga continue on Friday with 6th running of the $100,000 Curlin Stakes. Restricted to three-year-olds, the race will be run at a mile and an eighth and will feature a field of ten. 
This Saturday at Saratoga is the Grade 1 Diana Stakes, one of the most prestigious turf races for fillies and mares in the country. With a purse of $500,000, the mile and an eighth contest has attracted a field of nine. 
The 145th Saratoga meet kicks off Friday, July 18 in New York with ten races carded – including the $100,000 Sir Cat Stakes which will be included in the late pick four and daily double. 
The future stars of the West Coast circuit will compete on Sunday at Los Alamitos as part of the track’s first Thoroughbred meet in decades in the $100,000 W.L. Proctor Memorial Stakes. The six-furlong race has drawn a field six juvenile colts and geldings.
On Thursday at Delaware Park, three-year-olds will take to the turf in the $50,000 Nick Shuk Memorial Stakes. The race has drawn a field of eleven and will be contested at about seven and a half furlongs on the grass course. 
Some of the top long distance older horses in the country are scheduled to compete in the $500,000 Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park. The Grade 2 event has drawn a field of eleven to compete at the classic distance of a mile and a quarter on the main track.
