Prospect Park tops the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 8-5 for trainer Clifford Sise, Jr. A dark bay son of Tapit, he has been on the board in eight of his ten starts and is a three-time winner. Last time out, he earned his first graded stakes victory with a score in the La Jolla Handicap (G3) at Del Mar. Kent Desormeaux will be in the irons and they are scheduled to break from post position two.
Om trying for first graded stakes win
Second choice at 5-2 on the morning line is Om for trainer Dan Hendricks. A chestnut son of Munnings, he is one of only two horses to defeat Triple Crown champion American Pharoah and did so in his maiden win. He has two wins from six starts and was second behind Prospect Park in the La Jolla Handicap (G3) last time out. Gary Stevens will be aboard from post position six.
Soul Driver stepping up after two wins
Also in the field at morning line odds of 7-2 is Soul Driver for trainer Jeff Mullins. A chestnut son of Street Boss, he has been on the board in six of his nine starts and is a three-time career winner. He comes into this race off of back to back victories against minor stakes competition. He will be stepping back up to the graded stakes ranks and will have Mike Smith aboard from post three.
