On Saturday at Parx Racing, the track will host the $1 million Cotillion Stakes. A Grade 1 event for three-year-old fillies, the race will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth and has drawn a field of eleven.

I’m a Chatterbox has been tabbed as the morning line favorite in the wide open field at odds of 3-1 for trainer Larry Jones. A chestnut daughter of Munnings, she has been on the board in eight of her nine starts and is a four-time winner. After winning her first three starts of the year, she has been on the board against top Grade 1 company in her last three starts and was second last time out in the Alabama Stakes(G1). Florent Geroux will be aboard from post position eight.

Embellish the Lace going for second straight win

Second choice at morning line odds of 4-1 is Embellish the Lace for trainer Anthony Dutrow. A bay daughter of Super Saver, she was purchased for $320,000 as a yearling and has won three of her five starts. Last time out, she rebounded after a ninth place finish in the Mother Goose (G1) and earned her first graded stakes victory in the Alabama (G1). Javier Castellano will be in the irons and they will break from post position three.

Second start off the bench for champion Take Charge Brandi

Also in the field at morning line odds of 5-1 is Take Charge Brandi, last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner and Eclipse champion. Trained by D. Wayne Lukas, the chestnut daughter of Giant’s Causeway returned off of a seven month layoff last time out and was tenth in the Test Stakes (G1). She has been training steadily since then and will have regular jockey Luis Saez aboard from post position five as she tries to return to form.
