First run in 1807, it is one of the premier races for stayers in the world. The two-and-a-half-mile turf race offers a rich £500,000 purse, and it drew ten of the world’s best long-distance horses.

He has yet to win a stakes race and is trying to improve off of a sixth-place finish in the San Marcos Stakes (G2) last time out. Tyler Baze will be in the irons and they will break from post position five.

He made his first start of the year last time out at Golden Gate Fields and finished second in the Lost in the Fog Stakes. Gary Stevens will be aboard and they are scheduled to break from post position four.
